Shedding some light...

(I was informed that the links in this posts were not working, and they should be working now so please check the links.. especially to those that have already commented!)

Children: Between punishment and upbringing

Scientists believe that physically punishing children is the biggest harm that could be done to them. However, scientists failed to provide other successful techniques in which we are to raise obedient and well mannered children.

I on the other hand have come up with my own way with children. The only way to reproach children is to take them on a little drive and calmly talk to them about it and look into where they've gone wrong. That should calm the child down and turn them back to the delight that they are.

For those of you who are willing to find out more about this technique, I've attached picture which clearly shows you how it should be carried out. Should you have any queries please let me know.

Khaleeji women baring it all

It has been reported that groups of Khaleeji (gulf) women have been sighted lying on the beaches of the southern region of the Sultanate, Salalah to be exact. I dread what the future holds for us for this is only the beginning. This is what you would expect from all those cable channels and westernisation. Very little self respect and even less respect for others and their feelings towards such things. All of these habits are no strangers to us Arabs, we've always learned to take the worst of matters.

And now this is where we are at, lying around at beaches...

P.S. Does anyone know what happened to that standing camels head?

With little kids, you can't talk to them because they simply wouldn't understand what you are saying. A tap on their hands will do them good. Talks and discussions work for older kids , I think. The Nanny has better techniques. You should follow that show. Its miraclous.

More shocking news. A trusted friend of mine went to Starbucks located on shari3 7ub, only to see Omani girls in two piece swimming suits , bikinis, sarongs , tanning/sitting on the side walk. Every car stopped to look at them. They were about 15-17 as I believe she mentioned.

I would agree wirth mimi about the talking issue that doesn't work alot with kids where small punishing would work. Talking will work out with older kids ! I wonder what the kid dad in pic# 1 told him :P

As for the second .. Long you live .. strange you will see :)

1. Most of the time children never listen, so talking it out is not always an option.

2. No comment! Err, actually i have a question. Are you saying indirectly that we look like that?! :O

LOL @ all comments!
1)They either took the whole post too seriously before viewing the pics
or 2) they still took the post seriously even after viewing the pics... either that or they took the pics themselves seriously..

I could've sworn I saw some comments coming.. they were imminent.

lym: I'm glad I brought something like that up otherwise I would've never known things like this are actually happening. Certainly worrying.

I agree with both kamakazy and arabian princess the most. An appropriate balance of the two should be the right way around it.

I knew I would get comments like that about the second pic libellula and arabian princess :p
And I'm glad you realised that after seeing the pic mimi

Thanks for commenting everyone! :)
